Fishing
Summer Fishing
Our regular season runs from late June until the first week of September. The prime fishing season is from early July to late August.
The Equipment
We suggest an eight-to ten-foot fly rod and 6-9 weight floating lines with at least 100 yards of backing. We use wet and dry flies in sizes
6-10. If you have wading boots you can bring them, but they're not required to fish from the boats, just the shoreline.
Remember your camera. You'll have plenty of wilderness "photo opps." Make sure you throw a warm sweater in with your personal kit. We supply rain gear, and flotation jackets.
At your request, we'll supply any equipment you need so, if you forget anything, rest assured you'll still be able to tackle the river well prepared
for an unforgettable fishing adventure. Please visit the Department of Fisheries & Oceans for more information on obtaining a salmon fishing
licenses.
